Olympic Logos – past to present

Here’s an interesting post from the webdesignerdepo all about the various different Olympic logos that have become part of history, from 1924, right up to the London Olympic games which will be on in 2012.

Which one is your favourite? and which one do you really dislike? I really like the recent Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games, it looks like someone in nice warm clothes ready to go into the snow… I didn’t like the up coming 2012 London games logo, but then when I think about it, I reckon it would look really great embossed on medals, not so great in colour though in my opinion.

CGI fun

I love watching great computer generated imagery, and those and know me, also know that I am passionate about design of course but also elephants, I especially like the African elephants. So when I came across this nice piece of work, I thought it would be great to post about. Nicolas Deveaux, you are a legend! This little short film would have taken a while to generate.
